Spring Road Trip

A few weeks ago I lost a wonderful woman, my GGma Bryan. We have been so blessed to have had her as a part of our life for so long and she will be missed!  We headed up to Ohio for the funeral and had a great time with the family-eating, shooting and watching old home videos.  Let's just say I haven't laughed that hard in a while. I sincerely hope our videos we make now don't look so outdated in the future! We took a few photos at the graveyard.

After we said goodbyes to the family, we headed to Asheville, NC to spend the rest of the weekend. We loved meandering around downtown...
Our really cool entertainment at dinner
The next day we visited the Biltmore-what a neat place! We totally spent the extra $10/person to get the audio tour, which took 2-3 hrs. We were so pleased with the house and the grounds, we upgraded to a yearly pass and plan on visiting once a season. Unfortunately because of the unusually warm spring, most of the flowers in the flower festival were already dead, but we still had fun!

We showed up early and saw some turkeys running about-oh how Andre wished he had his shotgun (and permit) right then!

  1. I'm sorry to hear about your grandma. Someday we'll make it back out east and you'll have to take us to see all those sights!
