Reception in the Dirty South

So Andre and I originally decided to begin this blog as a way to chronicle all that we've accomplished and where we've traveled. Here's our attempt to try to recap the past few months (take a deep breath!)

Atlanta Reception: Andre's parents were wonderful enough to throw us an Atlanta reception at the end of April. Luckily it was a gorgeous day since the reception was outdoors at his parents' home. There were yellow and tangerine painted birdhouses, glass displays of lemons and tangerines, and white wreaths with more lemons and tangerinessimply wonderful. Here are a few pictures (surprise, surprise, I know):

Chatting it up with my brother
Really the inspiration for our wedding colors. I just fell in love with the tulips on Temple Square on my mission and thought they'd be perfect for the wedding!
Mother and daughter...looks like I didn't get her height!
Andre's mom and sisters made this out of fruit and magnolia leaves. We even took one home and put it on our front door (until it began to decay, boo)
Eli was our busboy for the day and did a great job

Ahh, the parentals
Hope our reception didn't freak Paul out! Haha we think this photo is so funny.

Andre's work cohort
Poor thing! Ariel just passed out afterward.
As you can tell by the amount of photos on here, I've reconsidered and will try to do each even separately :) Look forward to more posts soon!
